Print your stencil of choice.
When your square pops up on the bottom left click the little lock.
Tape the printed stencil onto the back of a stencil sheet.
Then place your stencil pattern on top of your cutting mat and put the mylar sheet on top of that.
If you take the time to make sure your stencil won t move around and if you use a good painting technique you will get great results too.
So to make a stencil you need to go to the left toolbar and click shapes highlighted and then select the square.
Secure both sheets with tape.
One of the most common materials for stencils is vinyl because it s sturdy and reusable.
Tricky to transfer from cutting mat to doormat i used spray adhesive and pins to keep the stencil from shifting.
Use masking tape or painters tape to securely attach your page onto a plastic stencil sheet.

Once you ve decided on your design draw or print it on a sheet of paper at the scale in which you want the stencil.
